This is a new hotel with typical rooms (not suites). It has free breakfast :) There is shopping, dining (including putt-putt mini golf with beer), and a movie theater across the street from this hotel in a nice outdoor shopping mall. It's located about 3 blocks away from from the second hotel (Hyatt House).
Discounted group code for Hyatt Place is available for 2 days prior and 2 days after the listed dates if you want to extend your stay.

Hyatt House Emeryville/San Francisco Bay Area
This is a new hotel with suites that is three blocks away from the other hotel (Hyatt Place). Each room here has two queen beds in a separate room. There is also a living room (with a pull-out couch) and a kitchen area adjacent to the bedroom. There's free breakfast, a pool, fireplace/patio area, and more :)
Located across the street is an indoor food court called The Public Market with gourmet tacos, coffee, ice cream, beer, pool tables, etc... A great hangout spot! One block past the food court is a nice playground for kiddos.
