Due to our adult guest count and the capacity at our venue, we ask that children above the age of two do not attend unless addressed (even though we love all of your kids!). The only children present will be the ring bearer and flower girl (Madi's nephew and niece).
Please contact Madi or Bobby if needed to accomodate your party.
Where and when will the provided transportation pick up guests?
If you responded 'yes' to riding the provided transportation to the venue, buses will be picking up guests at 4:30 PM at the Beaufort Inn parking lot located at the corner of Craven St and West St just across the street from the Fisher House (315 West St).
At the end of the evening, the buses will pick up those guests at 10:30 PM and will return them to the Beaufort Inn.
* If you are driving yourself to the pick up location and will need to park a car downtown, there is free street parking all around the inn within walking distance. There is also a secured parking lot at the Beaufort Inn, which requires $10 for overnight parking.
If I am not riding the bus, where will I park at the venue?
If you are staying outside of Beaufort or not riding the bus, we ask that you please consider using rideshare services (Uber, Lyft, etc.) as there is limited parking at our venue.
If you drive your car there, please tell the gate guard upon arrival that you are a guest for the Thompson/McPhillips wedding and need to park at the Oldfield Golf Clubhouse. They will direct you where to go. Once there, you will park in the lot at the Clubhouse (NOT the River House).
A small shuttle will be making runs from the Clubhouse parking lot to the River House venue and will return you to your car at the end of the evening.
What is the attire?
Black tie optional for men. Ladies are encouraged to dress "garden party formal." The colors of the evening are shades of blue, green and lavender with pops of coral. The ceremony will be outside on a grass lawn, as will the reception (the reception will be tented).
