Brian and Madi both moved to Texas in 2018 for work. Madi was a Sales Manager for a Hampton Inn in downtown Austin before fate intervened and she was offered a job at the Texas Stars AHL team in August. Brian moved to Austin to work with the team in September and the rest is history. Apparently, Madi had a crush first according to her friends. Their story truly began thanks to some friendly intervention on a dating app, a few nights out together in downtown Austin, and an offer to cook dinner (for Madi's roommate!). It's fine, it all worked out. After more than two months of uncertainty and a much-needed heart-to-heart, they committed to making their relationship official on April 15, 2019. Two years later, Brian proposed on July 9, 2021. Another two-ish years later they got hitched at the courthouse on February 3, 2024. Now they're ready to celebrate with family and friends!
