Because the lake house is about an hour and a half from the Albany International Airport, several hotel options can be found along the way. We recommend looking around Queensbury, Glens Falls, Warrensburg, Lake George, Loon Lake, and Brant Lake. Hotels, Motels, Cottages/Cabins, and Airbnb's are available. We have listed some local options on the travel page to either call or visit their websites for bookings. Prices and availability may vary. Please keep in mind we are in the Adirondack Mountain area and traditional hotel lodging is sparse.

The lake house is approximately 1.5 hours away from the Albany airport, and approximately 3-4 hours from JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark airports. Other local airports to consider include Stewart, Syracuse, and Burlington airports.

Yes. You can find rental cars through the airport(s) or in the city you fly into. If many guests find this a hindrance, we will consider adding a hotel near Clifton Park and a shuttle service to transport guests at a set time to and from the lake house.

Cell phone service is limited in the area depending on your provider. Therefore, it is VERY important to print or take screenshots of the directions to the lake house. Written directions can be found on the Travel page.

The blessing of the marriage and vow renewal ceremony is business casual/cocktail party attire. Please, no jeans, tennis shoes, or graphic tees. After the ceremony, it's lake day attire!
