4. Some of the properties have a 4/5 night minimum, this has been waved for the wedding so just remind them of that if they bring it up

Book privately
some people may prefer to book privately through VRBO as all of the condos and townhouses are privately owned. This is a great option if you want to lock in an exact unit ahead of time. The wedding discount rate cannot be applied through this route.

Bookings will open up in January of 2024, but you can get on the waitlist starting July of 2023.
Most families chose to book condos with multiple rooms for the weekend, but there are standard two person rooms available as well.

Commonly booked properties are the Kintla, Morning Eagle and Edelweiss lodges. Also popular are townhomes in Wood Run and Moose Run


There are also room options available in the town of whitefish which is about a 15 minute drive from the resort.
Parking will be free at the venue, there is a free shuttle around the resort.
Uber and Lyft are available, but not always plentiful.
*the road between the town of whitefish and whitefish mountain resort is about a 15 minute drive up a windy steep mountain road, please consider when booking lodging how you will get back to where you are staying after the reception. You will be able to walk or take the shuttle if you stay on the mountain. There are no late night dining or drinking options on the mountain, so if you may prefer to stay in the town of Whitefish if you want those options. The downtown is very cute and would be a lovely place to stay. Please reach out to the bride if you would like to stay downtown and need a ride back after the reception a month before the wedding. If there is enough of a need the bride and groom may be able to facilitate a shuttle back to town.
