Ben and Maggie fell in love in one of the most romantic places in all of Montana: the Bozeman Pizza Hut. They worked together for 3 months before Ben finally “manned up” and…. texted Maggie to ask her out on a date. The day after Christmas, Ben finally asked Maggie to be his girlfriend. She reluctantly agreed. 😜

Six months later, and in the midst of the Covid pandemic, they decided it would be a brilliant idea to move in together! A year and a half later they moved to southern Oregon for Ben’s job, adopted a cat, and then a dog. Ben proposed to Maggie on June 10, 2023 at Little Hyatt Reservoir with a ring of one of Maggie’s favorite stones; moss agate.

Let it be known that Maggie had no clue Ben was planning to propose until she noticed he wasn’t taking his hands out of his pockets (he was nervously fussing with the ring). The picture you see is where Maggie agreed to marry Ben. The dog (not pictured, but also in attendance) had jumped into the creek and got all muddy.
