Designed as a small Italian village Villa Bellezza is a Pepin-must with its tasting room, restaurant and piazza.

Check out some of the trails going up and down the bluffs in the area for some great views of the valley.

Pepin is the birthplace of Laura Ingalls Wilder, so stop by to see the place that inspired it all! Visit the museum in town to see artifacts and learn more Laura's life and the local area, and then stop by the replica of the Little House in the Big Woods, called the The Wayside Cabin, located just outside of town.

Take the beautiful drive 45 minutes over to Red Wing, MN to explore local shops, hike up to the top of Barn Bluff Hill for fabulous views of the river valley, have a beer at the Red Wing Brewery, and don't forget to stop in for a new pair of Red Wing boots!

The National Eagle Center is home to several non-releasable Bald Eagles and the surrounding area is a nesting place for hundreds of other eagles. Further afield, the Center offers field trips, habitat tours, and more to experience the local flora and fauna.

Stop by for an ice cream cone or some wine and cheese out on their patio!
