We met in the summer of 2015 at Cooper Park in Bozeman Montana. Dogs brought us together, who would have thought?! Kainoa was an adorable 4 month old puppy, and Millie was a one year old dog that adored puppies. They hit it off right away and played together several times before we even introduced ourselves to each other. Then after several weeks of talking Maile asked Kevin if he wanted to take the dogs on a walk together. His response was “Sure!” As he left, Maile called after, “Do you want my number?” And that was the unofficial first date. A few years later and with a few adventures under our belt we moved into a rough looking barn on Nash Rd. A year after that they went on a mountain bike ride in Haylite Canyon. “A little further” Kevin kept saying. Maile was confused. Then after 6 miles, in the middle of nowhere, with only the dogs and possibly a bear or two around, he got down on one knee. Now they are still more in love then ever and on their new adventure in Townsend, MT.

Wow! What a crazy few years it has been. Kevin and I decided to have a small ceremony at my parents house in August 2020. While we are extremely sad that we could not celebrate with everyone we wanted, we were excited to start our next chapter together. We planned on having a party/vow renewal in the future, and the future is now! We thank you for all of your love and support up to this point.
