It all started through a mutual friend’s Snapchat — a simple connection that turned into something extraordinary. What began as friendly messages (set up by the best man) soon led to our very first date: driving around town, bundled up in winter coats, admiring the glow of Christmas lights. That night, surrounded by twinkling lights and laughter, something just clicked.

A year later, Mathew recreated that magical evening and surprised Maria with a promise ring — a symbol of love, commitment, and everything our future would hold. It was the sweetest reminder that sometimes, the simplest beginnings lead to the most beautiful stories.

Then, on November 29th, 2024, he gave her the surprise of a lifetime. High above New York City, 101 floors up and surrounded by the breathtaking skyline, Mathew got down on one knee. With the city sparkling below and a crowd of onlookers cheering, she said yes to forever.

Now, as we prepare to say “I do,” we look back with full hearts and so much gratitude — for every moment that brought us here, for our two sweet dogs who fill our home with joy, and for the love that continues to grow every day.
