Open to the public, the trail is located right on Lake Michigan and features gorgeous views of the skyline and water, beaches and restaurants to enjoy and endless amounts of people watching. You can walk, run, or bike on the trail. The easiest way to enter the lakefront path if you are staying downtown is at the tunnel entrance on North Michigan Ave & East Oak Street.

Chicago is home to a world-class collection of museums and cultural institutions—all of which are worth visiting. Want to see premiere pieces from famous artists? Take a trip to the Art Institute or Museum of Contemporary Art. Love everything related to natural history and dinosaurs? Then the Field Museum is calling your name. Whether you enjoy art, science, history or architecture, the city’s many museums are some of the top Chicago attractions and provide a great way to spend an afternoon.
Would your visit to Chicago really be complete without eating a hot dog? According to Emma, it would not, as this is her favorite food of all time. While TimeOut Chicago's website has an excellent list of the best dog places, you can never go wrong with good old Portillo's!
