How do I reserve a room(s) in the room block?

2. Once you are on the Wright/Brennan page you will choose "Guest Type". Please use the drop down and choose: ATTENDEE

3. Choose room type and dates of check-in and check-out

4. Please note: When filling out the hotel guest information (your name, etc) there will be a field to type in your "organization". This is a mandatory field. Please type in

"Wright/Brennan Wedding" in this field.

5. You will need to put in a credit card to hold the room but it will not be charged at the time of reserving. Your credit card must have an expiration date that is AFTER the wedding date (9.01.24).

1. Can I book a room block reservation by calling instead of going online?

2.What if I have a special request such as a lake view room, high floor, etc?

There is a place on the reservation form to type in any special requests. Requests are not guaranteed but the hotel will make every effort to accommodate your requests.

3. What if I want to book a suite instead of a regular room offered in the block?

Suites are not part of the room block. To get the best rate on suites, first try booking through the hotel directly or through Expedia, etc. So sorry that we could not get a suite rate.

4. What is the deadline to book in the block?

The deadline to book in the block is August 1, 2024 but we recommend booking ASAP so we can add rooms as the block fills up.

5. What are the hotel parking rates?

$29.00 daily, discounted self-parking

6. What is the $25/per day hotel destination fee?

The $25.00 destination fee is a Food and Beverage Credit that can be used at the various eateries in the hotel: Rush Street Pantry, Reviver Bar or Harvest Restaurant. Marriott Bonvoy Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador Elite Members may use the credit toward beverage purchases in the Club Lounge.

(Food credit is per day and cannot be accumulated for multi-day stays)

7. What if the dates that I want are unavailable or the room I want is unavailable?

In this case, please contact Lora Wright (Contact info below).It is likely that she will need to add rooms to the block if the block is full so that everyone who wants to stay here will get a room in the block .

8. What if I don't want to stay at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile?

While we would love everyone to stay at the Marriott (great location, common gathering place and special welcome baskets in the rooms for all wedding guests) we understand that you might want to stay in a different hotel. Other hotels in the area that we recommend are: The Gwen Hotel, Fairfield Inn and Suites Downtown River North , Hyatt Place River North , Aloft Downtown River North, If you would like to stay at The Fairfield, please contact Lora as she has arranged for special rates there.
