Peyton and Markie met at a magical place called Western Illinois University. North Quad to be exact! Peyton and Markie went with a group of freshmen friends to stroll Adams St. on a Friday night, like all the little freshmen do. The next Monday, we realized that we were in the same PSYCH 180 class! Markie did well in the class, but Peyton almost failed because he was too busy talking to Markie. That's where we got to know each other even more. At the time, we were only friends, but we both knew there was potential for something more. We walked home together every Tuesday/Thursday. One day, Markie even made Peyton a PB&J sandwich so he didn't starve! Flash forward, Markie left Western but we still stayed in contact. We reconnected in September of 2018. We did long distance for awhile until Markie had to move back home due to medical reasons. In July 2020, Peyton invited Markie's best friend Ashley to hide and capture our proposal. What a magical day! We are so excited to celebrate our marriage and our happiness! Please join us!
