Matt and Claire are planning a small, private chapel ceremony earlier in the day on September 18, 2021. In lieu of a formal reception, they would love for you to join them for a celebration dinner at Good Food on Montford at 6 PM.

The dress code for our celebration is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies would look lovely in cocktail dresses, and gentlemen would look dapper in sports coats and slacks. However, come dressed in what is most comfortable for you!

Our celebration dinner will be indoors, and we have rented out the restaurant for our event.

Great question! Charlotte weather in September tends to still be pretty warm. The average daytime temperature is 83 degrees Fahrenheit, and the average nighttime temperature is 64 degrees Fahrenheit. However, this can vary, and September is prone to both hot and cold spells. Please bring a sweater and raincoat just in case!

Matt and Claire would love to continue their celebration after their dinner event. Please join them for casual drinks around Charlotte . . . locations TBD. There are no other formal events scheduled for our weekend, but please feel free to check out other Charlotte attractions under the "Things to Do" tab.

You will be missed! Please RSVP "No" via the slip enclosed with your invitation and mail it to Claire and Matt ASAP, so we can plan accordingly.

Good Food on Montford has a small parking lot, but Uber and Lyft are best if you plan on drinking at the event. Additionally, most hotels offer a shuttle for a small fee to and from locations in the city. Please reach out to Claire and Matt if you need additional transportation help; they're happy to assist you!

We have a strict guest list due to COVID-19 restrictions. Our celebration is RSVP only, and we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation; please refer to your invitation regarding children.

Due to the small nature of our celebration (only family members and close friends), we have not reserved a hotel block. However, please refer to the "Travel" tab for hotel recommendations.

Please mail back the RSVP slip enclosed in your invitation by August 1, 2021. We are not accepting RSVPs online and look forward to your mailed responses.

Please let Matt and Claire know, and they will be happy to accommodate your needs. There is a place to write in dietary preferences/requirements on your RSVP slip.

Matt and Claire are excited to celebrate with their loved ones, and no gifts are needed. They are not registered anywhere and would prefer no gifts. However, please see the "Gifts" tab if you wish to support their "house project" fund.

Hopefully, COVID-19 will be better controlled by September. However, should we have to make any changes to our event, we will post updates on our wedding website and try to contact you personally. We appreciate your flexibility during this unprecedented time.
