Freedom Park is a 98-acre park located between Charlotte's historic Dilworth and Myers Park neighborhoods. The park is centered on a 7-acre lake and is about 3 miles from the heart of Charlotte's downtown area. It connects to the Charlotte Greenway, miles of paved path for walking, running, and biking.
Discovery Place Science is a science and technology museum for visitors of all ages located in the Uptown area of Charlotte, North Carolina. It has many wonderful exhibits and is perfect for kids and families.
Carowinds is a 407-acre amusement park, located adjacent to Interstate 77 in Charlotte, North Carolina. It's located along the North Carolina-South Carolina state line and is just south of the city.
SouthPark Mall is an upscale shopping mall in the affluent SouthPark neighborhood in Charlotte, North Carolina. The mall is located approximately five miles south of Uptown Charlotte, at the corner of Sharon and Fairview Roads.
