The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat. Note it can get pretty breezy up in the hills so it is highly recommended to bring something warm at least for the wedding ceremony.

In April, temperatures in El Cerrito typically range from the mid-60s to low 70s. It can be slightly cooler in the evenings and early mornings, with temperatures dropping into the 50s especially since we are close to the ocean and do tend to get breezy weather. Even though it is April, El Cerrito tends not to get rain this month but it is always good to prepare just in case.

Both the ceremony and the reception are taking place at Berkeley Country Club. We are planning on holding a short ceremony right outside while the rest of the celebration will take place inside the main ballroom.

Weather permitting, we will have a short ceremony outside the main ballroom overlooking the bay. This area does have quite a few stairs but is paved. It has elevator access for those that need accommodations to get to where the ceremony will be held. Note it can get pretty chilly so it is recommended to bring a light jacket. The rest of the celebration will be held in the main ballroom.

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
