What is the deadline to RSVP?
The RSVP deadline is April 30th, 2025; however, we kindly ask that you submit your attendance response as soon as you can. Having a wedding in the mountains means we have "mountains" of logistics to plan for, and having an accurate attendance count is important. If for any reason, you may need to change the status of your attendance from "going" to "not going" after the RSVP deadline, please notify McKenna A.S.A.P. We understand that scheduling conflicts may arise and we just ask that you please notify us immediately to any changes in your attendance.
Do I have to book two nights at Bear Valley?
Yes! Bear Valley requires a two-night minimum stay for all guests, but lucky for us, this means we get to turn our wedding into a full weekend celebration! Think cozy vibes, starry mountain skies, and plenty of time to relax, mingle, and soak in the wedding magic. We promise—it’ll be worth it!
To reduce your room costs, we recommend sharing rooms with family/friends!
What is the dress code?
The dress code for Saturday is semi-formal. The mountain ridge where the ceremony is located can get chilly, so please bring a jacket. The ceremony is outdoors and the reception is indoors. Feel free to bring an extra pair of comfy shoes for dancing! If you are looking for ideas on what to wear, we recommend a "warm" color palette - scarlet, peach, amber, sienna, gold, greens, red, orange, teal, and yellows.
The dress code for Friday night's welcome celebration is elevated casual.
Can I bring a plus one?
As much as we’d love to celebrate with everyone, our guest list is limited to those who are specifically invited. We hope you understand that we’re keeping the wedding small and intimate.
How will I get meals outside of what is provided?
Dinner will be provided by Nathan and McKenna for Friday night's welcome party. For breakfast and additional lunches, Bear Valley offers several options:
1. Kofi Haus Cafe - Coffee, breakfast, and pastries (open 7:45 am - 12:00 pm).
2. Sky High Pizza - Pizzas, appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and a full bar (open 11:30pm - 3:00pm for lunch).
3. The General Store - snacks, desserts, frozen meals, easy grab-and-go options, and souvenirs (open 9:00am - 5:00pm). The General Store also has a microwave if you prefer to bring meal options from home.
There is complimentary coffee every morning by the front desk.
Are you having an open bar?
Yes, the drinks are on us and the recovery is on you!
