What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Yes- The dress code for our wedding will be Black Tie Optional. We suggest for men, suits and ties, and for the women evening dresses. The ceremony and reception will be held indoors while the cocktail hour will be outside on the terrace. We kindly ask that our guests refrain from wearing bright colors and floral patterns on our day. If you would like some inspiration, here is our pinterest link: https://pin.it/vlSqixD

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

As much as we love a good candid picture, we will be having an unplugged ceremony. There will be plenty of time for photos at the reception!

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at the same location - Chicago Winery - in the River North area of Chicago. There is a similarly named venue that may be confusing, please be mindful that our venue is located on N. Clark Street.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

How do I get to the venue?

Our venue is centrally located in River North. It is easily accessible by uber, public transit or by foot! If you booked your stay in one of our hotel blocks, you will be within a short drive or walking distance of our venue. The address for Chicago Winery is: 739 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60654

What time should I arrive?

Doors to our venue will open 30 minutes prior to our ceremony, and doors will close 10 minutes before we begin. If you are running behind, we request that you wait for our cocktail reception to begin on the venue's terrace.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

There is no parking connected to the venue. There is limited street parking, but we strongly encourage taking an uber/lyft to the venue. Also please keep in mind that Chicago is a major city where parking may be difficult or expensive. If you plan to drive in for our special day, please consider booking parking spots ahead on services like spothero.com as they are usually less expensive than hotel or ramp costs.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

As much as we would love to be able to share our day with the world, we have a strict guest limit at our venue, and we can only host those listed on your invitation. Those invited to join us for our big day will have their name listed on the invitation and our RSVP form on our website. If you have any questions, please contact us.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

The deadline to RSVP is June 15, 2024. No need to mail anything back- please RSVP online.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

We want to be sure everyone can enjoy our day! If you have any dietary restrictions, please indicate your preferences on your RSVP submission.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Since our venue is centrally located to the hotels in the area, we will not be providing transportation from hotels to the venue.

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

If there is any other clarity we can provide, please give us a call!
