The Chicago Air and Water Show presented by the City of Chicago is the largest FREE show of its kind in the United States. The show can be viewed along the lakefront from Fullerton to Oak Street, with North Avenue Beach as the focal point. This will be held from approx. 10am-1pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

This is one of our favorite ways to experience Chicago! This 45 minute tour takes you along the Chicago River and tells you about the history and buildings that make Chicago unique. It gets you the best views of the City (and has a bar!)

Chicago is known for its Lakeshore Path! our favorite place to walk when we lived in Gold Coast was the lakeshore path at North Avenue Beach. Enter Lincoln Park near the Historical Society, and head on over to the water.

Goddess & The Baker is one of our favorite breakfast spots in the city. There are multiple locations, but the one on Superior is the closest cafe to our venue.

Aba is one of our favorite restaurants in the City. It is located in the West Loop neighborhood, and is one of the most "hoppin'" places to go if you are looking for amazing food and trendy bars. Aba offers amazing Mediterranean food, and a gorgeous rooftop!

If you are looking for a quick bite, Seoul Taco is one of our favorite places for takeout. if Korean fusion is your thing, it is a must have!

If you are looking a great brunch or a nice dinner, head over to 3 Arts Cafe which is located in the Restoration Hardware in Gold Coast. This is where Meg & Mike went to meet Meg's parents immediately following our engagement!

If you are looking for good Italian, Etta is your spot! Located just a few blocks from our venue, Etta has great pizza and pasta with a nice ambiance for you to enjoy. There is another location in Bucktown, which is Meg & Mike's neighborhood.
