As with all great modern love stories, ours started with Hinge (the dating app) and the beginning of life after Covid in April 2021.

Right before the first date, we exchanged phone numbers to which Christian said "Megan, I didn't realize you were from the (South) Bend!" - not knowing how significant that location would be down the road.

The first date was full of empanadas, sparkling cocktails, and laughter, which made it easy for all parties to agree that there would be a second date.

Since then, there have been "I love you's" exchanged in Asheville, holidays with our families in Elkhart & Perrysburg, ski trips, ND games, Karaoke @ Louies, euchre, and Pasta Sundays with friends. Then, we made a home together in Bucktown in fall 2022.

On April 8th, 2023 - Christian proposed at the Golden Gate Overlook in Sausalito, CA and we celebrated in Napa. The glow of being engaged has yet to wear off but we are so looking forward to having you all celebrate with us on October 5th, 2024.
