The breakfast/brunch, there is really no better place than Peggs! Megan has been a frequent visitor since high school and Christian was a regular in his college years. Make sure to say hi to Peg Dalton, the owner, if you drop in.

For lunch, we recommend Crooked Ewe brewery. Proper bar food and fun flights to try!

For dinner, Parisi's is close to campus and a lovely italian spot. Also Rocco's pizza is walk in only but worth the wait.

For drinks, the Whiskey Exchange or Lasalle Kitchen & Tavern for fun cocktails & live music.

For options walking distance to the hotels, check out eddy street commons for places like, five guys, chipotle, starbucks etc.

If you are in town on Friday night, South Bend will be hosting First Fridays, which is an immersive community experience showcasing the best of what downtown South Bend has to offer. First Fridays features live music, dining & retail specials, art receptions, kid-friendly activities, and more.

Saturday morning (7-9am), there will be a Cars & Coffee event at the Studebaker museum, where you can grab coffee and view classic / unique cars.

Last but certainly not least, take a self guided tour around The University of Notre Dame! Given it's self paced, you can see as much of campus as you have time for and enjoy a beautiful walk. Link to tour HERE.
