Walk or bike on the Colchester causeway. This three-mile bike path is where Matt and Megan shared their first date and holds a special spot in their hearts. With stunning views of the lake, this is a great option for stretching the legs.

Walk or bike along beautiful Lake Champlain on the eight-mile-long bike path that weaves around parks, beaches, a local skate park, creemee stands (that's soft serve ice cream - Megan's favorite!), hiking trails, and more.

Go visit the Ben & Jerry's Factory in Waterbury for a tour! There is a flavor graveyard where they put old flavors to rest, and you get a free cone at the end of the tour. B&J's is about 30 minutes south of Burlington.

There is a Ben & Jerry's store on Church Street in Burlington, if you are looking for a mid-day munch without going to the factory.

A beautiful out-and-back hike that is a personal favorite of Megan's. The hike takes anywhere between an hour and 45 minutes to 3 hours depending on your pace, and has a beautiful 360 degree vista at the top

Considered one of the most impressive collection of artifacts, visual art and other historical items, Shelburne Museum is a great place to spend a few hours if you're looking for a cultured experience! The museum has paintings by Monet, Cassatt, Degas and even the has the Ticonderoga steamboat on display!

Go for a stroll, take a tour of the farm, see how they make cheese, or meet the animals at the petting zoo! The farms offer fantastic views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks! This is a personal favorite of Matt and Megan's.

Go to Foam Brewers for a local beer and a Vermont cheese board. You can watch the sunset from the brewery patio!

Go to Pine Street in Burlington on Saturday from 9:00-2:00pm to grab a bite of local food or to pick up some fresh, delicious produce. There's also an Artist's Market next door.

A creemee is Vermont's version of soft serve ice cream. After taste-testing her way through Vermont's creemee offerings, Megan has given Palmer Lane Maple (PLM) her stamp of approval. Many friends have shared in the PLM experience with her and Matt and can testify that it is worth the visit.

Hannah, a classmate of Megan's at St. Lawrence owns this sailboat company and hosts sailboat tours around the lake. Matt, Megan and the Doherty family attended a sunset cruise and absloutley loved the experience!
