Fryeburg is located on the Maine/New Hampshire border. Without traffic, it is about a 2.5 to 3 hour drive from Boston.
Our preferred route into Maine is to go through Boston, up Route 95, toward Portland, ME. We then get off on Route 302 towards Windham, ME. This route takes you through the lakes region of Maine, and leads through Bridgton and Sweden to get to Fryeburg.
Although we would love to be able to accommodate everyone for the wedding, the rooms at the Old Saco Inn will be reserved for the wedding party. We encourage guests to look around for lodging options, as there are many hotels and rentals in the area surrounding Fryeburg, at a range of price points.
The Maine towns surrounding Fryeburg include Lovell, Stow, Sweden, Denmark, and Bridgton. There are many vacation rentals listed on Airbnb and VRBO in these areas. We encourage you to consider these options if you are looking for something with a bit more space than a hotel room, or if you plan to travel as a group with other guests!
The town of North Conway is located just over the Maine/New Hampshire border, about a 30 minute drive from the wedding venue. This area is a prime vacation spot, so there are a lot of hotels in the area at a range of price points, as well as many vacation rentals!
We have linked below some of our recommendations of hotels in the North Conway area, for your convenience.
