We are here to help you with travel and housing!
John Mueller (Megan's Dad) has a lifetime of experience in housing options at Sunriver and would love to assist anyone in finding your perfect accommodations. You will have an option on the RSVP to ask for help, or you can reach out directly to John at muellerjs01@gmail.com.
There are many housing options to stay in Sunriver, ranging from Sunriver Resort Lodge rooms, small single family houses & condos, multifamily houses, and even huge homes with an airplane hanger.
Lodging rentals can be made a number of ways but we suggest your first look be at units offered by Sunriver Resort. This is because when you rent through the Resort you also get access to free shuttles services throughout Sunriver, indoor pool facilities and spa, and other perks.
If you are looking for a unit that is similar to hotel room experience, the Resort is offering a discounted base nightly rate on their Lodge Village Guestrooms for the nights of February 20 & 21 (currently $254/night – discounted rate is $189/night). For more information on this offer or other Sunriver Resort managed homes and condos, call Reservations directly at 855-420-8206 or go online at Sunriver Resort | Central Oregon Destination Resort . Be sure to give them the Group Rate code of 2J23RT.
Even if your party is two to four people, a condo or small home can rent for the same total as Resort guestrooms and of course offer the advantage of more space, full kitchens, and often extras like private hot tub.
In response to many invitees asking about rental home options Megan’s dad has curated a complete list of rental homes in these areas offered by the Resort and all other management companies in Sunriver. As mentioned above, when completing your RSVP just check that you are interested in housing suggestions or email John directly at muellerjs01@gmail.com.
Sunriver Resort is about 190 miles southwest of Portland, Oregon. The city of Bend, Oregon is only a 20 minutes drive to the resort. For those guests travelling from outside Oregon, we recommend flying into Redmond Airport/RDM (20 miles south of Bend) and renting a car or getting a taxi/lyft/uber for the 45 minute drive to Sunriver.
Alternatively, you can choose to fly into Portland, Oregon (PDX) and rent a car, but the drive is a 3.5hour drive through the Cascade mountains. It is a gorgeous drive but due to it being winter, we recommend this option to those that have experience driving in the snow. The roads are safe and maintained through the year, but it will be snowing on the mountain and you will need snow tires or chains.
The Redmond Municipal Airport has recently expanded to include flight
offerings/services from American Airlines, Alaska Air, Avelon Airlines, Delta Airlines and United Airlines. For more information, please visit https://flyrdm.com/
