We get it! Cape Town is miles away for a lot of you. But if you've never been (especially in March) you're missing out.

Think stunning West Coast of Ireland scenery with Bahamas weather. Think great food, great wine and a great group of guests.

Beaches and vineyards everywhere and an endless list of things to do and places to explore.

We need you in Cape Town on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th of March. Any days outside this is a bonus.

FLIGHTS

If you're flying from overseas we recommend you book flights asap. They won't get any cheaper now.

There are plenty of flights to and from Cape Town. But if you're thinking about doing a Safari on the trip you should consider flying into or out of Johannesburg and taking an internal flight Cape Town to Jo'burg (2hrs) or vice versa.

The best Safaris are closer to Jo'burg.

GROUND TRANSPORT

Cars

If you're going to be traveling around Cape Town for a week we'd highly recommend you rent a car. You can get one for as little as $200/week booking in advance.

Ubers

Ubers are all over Cape Town. They are cheap and safe. You can get an Uber from Cape Town to Wellington (where the wedding venue 'Bakenhof' is).

Picking up an Uber in Wellington especially at 2am after the wedding won't work. But don't worry, we have a plan for that.

Drivers

Drivers are also very cheap - You can hire one from as little as €50/day

Buses

We're arranging buses for the following:

1. From Cape Town to Wellington (through Franschhoek) on Friday 7th at midday. This will take you to the wine tasting/lunch and then drop you at your accommodation in Wellington after.

2. From Wellington to Cape Town 2.30am Saturday night/Sunday morning. This is on an if needed basis but we want to give you the option to stay in Cape Town for the whole stay if you want. This way you can get home to Cape Town or maybe you're going all out and your livin' it up in Camps Bay for the week. Either way we've got you covered at the end of the night.

3. There are cheap/free shuttle buses to/from the recommended accommodation in Wellington to the Bakenhof wedding venue.
