Head up to Lake Martin and hike up the Fire tower to watch a gorgeous sunset or sunrise. This is the same spot Preston officially asked me to be his girlfriend as well. It holds a special place in our hearts.

To time it well it is about a 45-minute drive to the fire tower. And about a 30 to 40-minute hike depending on how fast you walk. You can also hike to the Lake at the bottom of the fire tower.

If you want a nice dinner or Sunday Brunch we recommend making reservations here. Their food is amazing and they have the best service.

If you want to go hiking in a very special part of Georgia this is an easy day trip and is only an hour outside of Auburn.

If you're looking for good food this is an amazing restaurant. They do not take reservations so plan your meal time accordingly.

If you're looking for a good cup of coffee this is our favorite coffee shop in Auburn. They also do wine tastings in the evening so be sure to check their calendar for wine tasting events.

They have so much to do here. If you want to eat dinner make reservations online or call a week or two before hand. I have heard they also have amazing brunch. Their Grille is reservation only. They also have a market with live music at night and a bar, check their website for event information. If you love greenery and plants they also have a greenhouse. One of the BEST places in Auburn, and you can see where Preston proposed here :)
