What is the dress code?
Dressy causal! For example, women could wear a sundress or jumpsuit and men could wear a dress shirt and slacks. Make sure you check the weather though! This may be a given, but please avoid wearing white. The wedding party will be wearing sage green, lavender, and dusty blues.
What if I do not respond to the RSVP by March 1st?
If we do not receive your RSVP by March 1st, we will assume that you will not be attending and will not have a seat available for you at the wedding.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early to ensure you have enough time to find your seat before the start of the ceremony.
Can I bring a plus one or a child?
Your invitation will indicate whether you received a plus one. We cannot accommodate any additional guests or children.
What food/drinks will be there?
We will be having a buffet dinner with loads of dessert options and there will be an open bar with wine/beer. Your RSVP will include a dietary restrictions question and we have notified the caterer of indicated allergies. If you indicated an allergy, the caterer is making a separate meal for you.
What's the gift situation?
We love and appreciate any gift that we receive! We did put our registry on this website, but please take note that we have lived together for a few years and have mostly everything we need. We would prefer and greatly appreciate any contributions to our honeymoon fund to supplement as a gift as we are extremely excited to spend time together making new memories as newlyweds.
How do I give gifts/cards?
At the wedding, there will be a card box and gift table if you would like to put any gifts there. Please know that we LOVE cards and Micah has kept every card she has ever received in her life, so they will be very appreciated.
If you choose to give a gift, we do prefer that you send them to our house instead of bringing them to the wedding because we will have very full cars. Our address is through our registry, but also feel free to reach out if you need it! (p.s. we moved to High Point so our Charlotte address is not current)
Which airport is the closest?
Piedmont Triad International airport is the closest airport to the venue (55 mins), followed by Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (1hr 34mins), then Raleigh-Durham International Airport (1hr 55mins). GSO (the triad one) is small but has surprisingly well-priced domestic flights, so definitely consider looking!
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes, there is more than enough spots for everyone to park at the venue!
Is it an outdoor wedding?
It will be an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, weather permitting.
Is there a hotel block?
Yes, there is a hotel block with the Hilton in Mount Airy. It is close to the venue and further details can be found under the travel tab.
Is travel necessary from the ceremony to the reception?
No, the reception is taking place at the same location as the ceremony and is only a short walk. There are accommodations for those that need assistance as well.
