Dear Michael,
Would we have been considered brothers though blood and related aptitude failed us? Would you have been called “My Brad” still if there weren’t any genetic relations? Yes, because tender love, care, and support have never left the arms you held me with since childhood and to date. How I wish I could recall how I learnt to pronounce your name when I was a toddler.
All I mean is that, though people may see our faces and say we’re brothers, the bond and tie we’ve got is more than what can be seen on our faces. I'm so grateful to have you in my life.
I cherish the memories we've made together, from our silly jokes to our deep, meaningful conversations. I admire your strength, your resilience, and your generosity. You inspire me to be a better person every day.
Thank you for being my rock, my confidant, and my brother. I'm excited to see you (ElderMickie) and our beautiful Ohemaa NK tie the knot. I wish you guys a lifetime of happiness, filled with love, laughter, and exciting experiences together. May your relationship continue to flourish and deepen with each passing day.
💕I love you more than words can express.

Yaw Preko Antwi here! I'm thrilled to share the story of my beloved sister's soon-to-be husband, Michael Osei Boateng, becoming a significant part of our lives. During the challenging COVID-19 period in 2020, Michael was living in China, and through his friendship with my sister, we connected over calls and videos.
As our conversations grew, we exchanged contacts, and I proudly became his 'surprise manager' or go-between! When Michael arrived at the airport, we finally met in person, and I was struck by his warm, friendly, and spiritual nature.
Today, I'm overjoyed to celebrate the love that has blossomed between Michael and my sister! I wish you both a lifelong journey of love, laughter, and adventure together. May your bond continue to grow stronger with each passing day.

Although we haven't known each other for long, our interactions over these few months have shown me that you're a calm, respectful, and affable Christian gentleman.
As you begin this new chapter in your life together, I want to wish you both all the best. My sister has spoken highly of you, Osei Boateng, and shared with us your kind heart. When you finally returned from China, your generosity and warmth won us over, and we've all grown to love and appreciate you.
Today, as you embark on this journey of marriage, I pray that your union will be a shining example for all to follow. May your love and commitment to each other continue to grow stronger with each passing day. I'm honoured to welcome you into our family, and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, joy, and adventure together.
Congratulations, my big brother and dear sister. May your marriage be blessed and be a standard for all to imitate. Cheers Champ...

I've had the pleasure of knowing Kwasi for a while now, and since he came to Ghana, our bond has grown stronger. He's a great guy, always looking out for me and interested in my love life. I've seen how kind and generous he is, and my sister has spoken highly of him too.
As Kwasi marries my sister, I'm happy to welcome him into our family. I'm grateful to have him as a part of our family, and it's even more special that he shares our father's name, 'Boateng'. I wish them both all the best as they start this new chapter in their lives together.
May their love and commitment to each other be an example for others to follow, and may they have a lifetime of happiness, joy, and adventure together. Congratulations to my big brother and dear sister.

Mr. Osei-Boateng, I got quite intrigued when I first heard your name because, for a moment, I thought you were related to the late Akuamoah Osei Boateng.
I’ve not known you for so long, but from our encounters during the past few months, I can attest to the calm, respectful, affable Christian gentleman you are.
And I could say you have found a perfect match because my dear big sister is one of a kind, which you can attest to. On this day, as you kickstart this journey of marriage, I wish nothing but the very best for you, my big brother and “Akonta”. May this marriage be a standard for all people to imitate.
Have a good one!!
Lady of Honour
From the moment Nana and I bonded at church, it was as if we were sisters intertwined by fate. Our first conversation sparked during a fun children's activity I led for the little ones, where she approached me with a radiant smile, asking for permission to capture the moment because the activity made her reminisce about her own childhood. That day, we exchanged contacts, and since then, our friendship has blossomed into a sisterhood. As she embarks on this beautiful new chapter, my heart swells with pride, and I am truly honoured to stand by her side as her lady of honour. Cheers to your wonderful journey ahead, Nana Akua, a.k.a. Agogo Hemaa! 💓

Bridesmaid
Our first encounter was at church, when I was in a drama class with the kids, and she walked in to share her opinion on how it should go. That was how our friendship began, and we've been friends ever since. One thing I like about her is the softness and calmness in her voice when speaking. It's my prayer that God will see her through this new journey she's embarking on. I love you, NK🥰❤
Bridesmaid
Somewhere around 2014/15, I noticed a fine damsel in our mist at church. She was the talk of "town." I actually have no idea how long it took. I realized this amazingly cutie was my friend, a great one at that, and since then, it has always been a roller coaster of intriguing adventures. Akua is a real gem, her aura, charm, awesomeness, just name it, have always been top-notch. There is never a dull moment when she’s around. I’m glad to have you as a friend, and I love you bunch. Keep being amazing
Bridesmaid
To my dearest NK,
I still remember the day we met like it was yesterday. We were in college at VVU, and for a minute there, I'll say we were destined to be friends. Because of all the new students gathered for orientation, I had to sit next to you, although the first impression I had was funny, but see us now 5 years and still counting.
We share our deepest secrets, support each other through thick and thin, and create memories that we will cherish forever. As I look back on our time together in school, I'm filled with gratitude for the gift of your friendship. You are more than just a best friend, you are a sister, a confidante, and my number-one cheerleader.
You deserve every ounce of happiness that's coming your way. Your heart is pure, your spirit is bright, and your love is strong. I'm honoured to have shared in your journey and to stand by your side as you begin this new chapter.
I love you, Hun.
To Elder Mickie,
It is with deep admiration and genuine respect that I write this testimonial for my good friend, Michael Osei-Boateng. I first met Mickie in 2019 through our church fellowship, and since then, he has been a constant presence in my life. What began as a casual acquaintance quickly grew into a true friendship grounded in our shared faith as members of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Mickie’s character is one of humility, kindness, and remarkable dedication to God. He has always been someone I could rely on for sound advice, whether about spiritual matters, academic challenges, or everyday life.
Mickie and I bonded during his time in China, where he studied at Jiangsu University of Science and Technology. Despite being far from home, he displayed incredible resilience and focus, never allowing the pressures of life to shake his faith or his principles. We often discussed life’s important matters—academics, personal growth, faith, and relationships—but beyond conversations, what stood out most about Mickie was his devotion to prayer. Praying with Mickie has been one of the most enriching aspects of our friendship. His commitment to seeking God’s guidance in all things showed me how to approach life with faith and courage.
Mickie is not just a friend; he is a brother in faith, someone I can always count on, to be honest, encouraging, and steadfast. As he prepares to enter into marriage, I am confident that he will bring the same integrity, loyalty, and love to his new role as a husband. Mickie’s life is a testimony of what it means to walk closely with God, and I am honoured to have had the privilege of walking part of this journey alongside him. I am confident that Nana Akua (Mrs. Osei-Boateng), whom I have come to know well, will find genuine solace in him and be fulfilled in their marriage.
May their marriage be blessed with joy, peace, and the continued guidance of God.
To Bra Mike 😎
I am honoured to deliver this testimonial about my brother and friend, Michael Osei Boateng. We've known each other since we were kids in the Adventist church in the Ahinsan district of the South Central Ghana Conference of SDA. Our adventure club and Pathfinder days were a lot of fun thanks to the love and unity we shared at our church events and gatherings. Mike's humility and dedication to his church activities gained him numerous positions at our Youth Camp meetings, as well as various leadership roles in the local church and district as a whole.
Even though the world appears to be vast, we both ended up on another continent, in the same country and in the same city, only a few miles away. We were both in China, attending different institutions, but our friendship, which began in childhood, grew deeper. Mike's love, support, and encouragement were immense, especially during difficult times in both my academic and personal lives.
Mike, I've known from day one that you were special, and it fills me with such joy to see Akua recognize how amazing you truly are. Cheers to your big day and the many years of happiness ahead of you. Remember to soak in every moment, because this is going to be a truly unforgettable time. Sending you lots of love and best wishes for a lifetime of happiness together!
Congratulations, Bra Mike
Mikeeeee...
Charley, a big congratulations on your wedding!!!!
I can still vividly recall our first day together at Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, when we were both juggling the demands of our bachelor's degrees. From studying together to cooking and cracking jokes, we became best buds (by the way, I am still surviving on the cooking lessons you gave me). Those years were packed with unforgettable times, some super fun and others a bit tough, and through it all, our friendship grew into brotherhood.
You’ve always been a big brother to me, showing so much kindness and care in everything you do. Your ability to put others first and your genuine care for everyone around you have greatly influenced my life for the better. Whether we were celebrating our success or going through difficult times together, your constant encouragement and compassion made every experience more worthwhile and meaningful.
As you step into married life, I wish you and your partner endless happiness, love, prosperity and more babies, LOL. May your journey together be filled with beautiful memories, mutual respect, and unbreakable support for one another. Your selflessness and compassion will undoubtedly make your marriage strong and enduring.
I love you, my brother.
OUR FRIENDSHIP STORY
It all began most unexpectedly. My cousin, who was Nana Akua's school daughter in high school, unknowingly set the foundation for a friendship that would stand the test of time. She often spoke to Nana about her family, and somehow, I became part of those conversations. I had always wanted a friend beyond the walls of my school, and thanks to my cousin, that wish quietly came true.
One sunny afternoon in December 2014, I was lounging in the living room, comfortably nestled in the armchair, battling the usual drowsiness from (Domso). Suddenly, my phone rang. The voice on the other end asked if I could text, and I promptly replied with a firm, "No." That sparked laughter, and we introduced ourselves. Our first conversation lasted ten minutes, a brief yet meaningful exchange. A week later, Nana called again, this time to say goodbye before heading back to school for her mock exams.
Months passed, and in 2015, as we both neared the completion of high school, I reached out to her. From then on, our friendship blossomed. Though we had never met in person, we talked every day, sharing stories, dreams, and everyday experiences. The bond grew stronger with each conversation.
Finally, in 2016, we decided it was time to meet. When we did, it felt as if we had known each other forever. That same year, I attended a one-week program at a friend's church in Taifa Burkina. I mentioned this to Nana Akua, and she was thrilled at the chance to see me again. This time, her mother was aware of our friendship and wanted to meet me. Nana came to pick me up, and I met her warm and welcoming mother. She kindly offered me food and even tried to give me money for transportation. I pondered how to politely decline without seeming ungrateful. Before I could speak, Nana interrupted with a chuckle, saying, "Maa! Kwaku der omper saa oh."
At that moment, I realized that Nana Akua saw me for who I truly was—not defined by my disability but by my abilities. Her belief in me was unwavering, and that meant everything.
Now, as December approaches, we celebrate eleven years of friendship. Nana, you are kind, a great listener, a counselor, thoughtful, and selfless. Knowing you has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. I would never trade your friendship for all the gold in the world.
As you step into this new chapter of marriage, I pray that the heavens grant you endless joy and shield you from sadness. May your days be filled with love, laughter, and all the beautiful things life has to offer.
Bless you, Nana Akua, and thank you for being my friend.

I have a whole book to write about our friendship but I will keep it short
This is how the story began.
I met NK through my twin sister, and from that moment on, our friendship blossomed. What struck me most about her was her kind heart, infectious smile, resilience, and determination, always striving to learn and grow. Your passion for life is contagious, and being around you made me want to be a better person.
As our friendship grew, I witnessed your compassion, empathy, generosity, and unique ability to make everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. Your presence in my life has been a blessing, and I'm so grateful for all the conversations and laughter-filled moments
Reflecting on our journey together, I remember the time we started exercising together. Your goal was to maintain your physical fitness, and your dedication inspired me. My own goal aligned with yours, and together, we pushed ourselves to be healthier and stronger.
Those early morning workout sessions were not only a great way to stay active but also a special bonding time I cherished so much. We motivated each other, shared laughter, and supported each other through the tough times.
Through our fitness journey, I witnessed your discipline, perseverance, and passion for wellness. Your commitment to your goals is truly admirable, and I'm so grateful to have met you; your friendship means the world to me, and I'm honoured to celebrate you today. Thank you for being a constant source of inspiration, motivation, and joy in my life.
Cheers
Hi everyone present, you have no idea how excited I am For this wedding and also the opportunity given me to share details about how Mrs Osei-Boateng and I met as friends and a few things about her too.
I was in school when I was having a conversation with my daddy, Elder Kankam Dankwah, and he told me he wanted me to be friends with someone. He showed me who she was, and it was Nana Akua. I vacated and came home, came to the church, but was too shy to talk to her. Fast forward: we attended a single's dinner; that was just like a year ago, and we were asked to write compliments to our crushes or anyone who we admire. So I wrote a note to her, and we spoke afterwards. Then I told her I would text her later in the evening, and she asked me how, but I told her not to worry. So yeah, I texted her, and that was how our friendship began. Nana Akua is sweet; she's kind. A few months after we met, she asked me what I wanted for my 20th birthday.
I told her anything was fine, and the gift she got me was mind-blowing. She's supportive, caring, very appreciative, and very very humble and considerate. Nana Akua will never watch my status without liking and commenting on my pictures and telling me I'm beautiful. Nana Akua makes me know the feeling of having a big sister. When we meet in person, we don't talk much. I guess it's because she's a reserved person, and I'm a shy type sometimes 😂. But when we meet on WhatsApp, yeah...
I'm glad our paths crossed, and thank you for loving me. I hope you aren't going to stop calling me "baby, hun, and baby sis," because I forever want to be called that by you.
May God bless your new home. Nana Akua Philippians 1: 3 is what I want to tell you.
I love you 😍
