What's the celebration venue like?
The venue is a working barrel house / brewery, right around the corner from Reubens Brews (a popular Ballard taproom). The Barrel House is accessible from the sidewalk, with no steps up. We'll have tables and chairs for sitting and chatting, and there will be a small mobile bar with brews on tap. There will also be wine, cider, hard seltzer and non-alcoholic drinks available.
Where should I park?
There is no parking lot, but street parking is available. Michaela would say it's sometimes tricky to find a spot. Lucas would say you just gotta drive slow and believe. But also the beer and wine are unlimited, so maybe take a ride-share or the bus?
What does aggressively casual mean?
It means you can truly wear whatever you want. This won't be fancy. That said, sparkles and party hats are highly encouraged ;)
Is there going to be a ceremony at the celebration?
Nope! There will be a toast or two, but really, we're just going to casually Celebrate Good Times.
Will you feed us at the party?
Yes! Our party will be catered by the food truck "Where Ya At Matt?" Po' boys, beignets, gumbo, etc.! Please let us know of any dietary restrictions in the RSVP form so we can do our best to accomodate you.
Will there be dancing?
God, we hope so.
Are kids allowed?
Yes! Our friends and family with children are more than welcome to bring them. There will be *unlimited juice* so you know this party will be off the hook!
Can I bring a plus one?
Your partners and spouses are welcome. We're hoping this is an intimate gathering with our dearest friends and family, so we ask you do not bring additional friends or hot dates.
Reubens allows dogs. Can I bring my dog?
NO :)
