What safety measures are you taking against COVID?

We are working closely with our venue to adhere to the current restrictions and guidelines. With the onslaught of new and continuing variants, we ask that you give yourself a rapid test the day of our wedding. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, we encourage you to do so! This is an outdoor wedding, but regardless of such, we ask that you test yourself before the event as a gut check. If you are feeling ill, please stay home and rest up! The entire event is outdoors.

What are you providing for transportation?

If you are staying at our two hotel blocks or another hotel/airbnb in Salem, we will have a shuttle that picks up exclusively at the Hampton Inn; all are welcome! If you are staying in Boston or any surrounding North Shore town, Uber/Lyft are easy to get. The 2 buses will depart the hotel at 4:50pm.

Where is the ceremony?

The ceremony is being held at Glen Magna Farms. This is an outdoor ceremony (weather permitting!) Signs will direct you to the ceremony gardens.

Where is the reception?

The reception is also held at Glen Magna Farms, in a covered tent adjacent to the ceremony gardens. The cocktail hour will take place in front of the Estate.

Where should we stay?

We have two hotel blocks: The Hotel Salem, and the Hampton Inn, both in the center of historic downtown Salem, MA. The hotels are within 5 minutes walking distance of each other. If you wish to stay elsewhere or if the hotel blocks are full, there are plenty of other hotels in the area, as well as airbnb's. A shuttle will provide transport between the Hampton Inn and the venue, and you are still welcome to ride even if you are not at the two hotel blocks. The shuttle will not pick up from The Hotel Salem, ONLY the Hampton Inn.

What should I wear?

We ask that you come in your formal attire that makes you feel your best! While this is not black tie, it is also not casual. If you want further clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out to Michela!

Can I bring a plus one?

Our venue capacity has a cap of 200, so unfortunately we cannot accommodate a plus one unless we've included them on your invitation envelope (or otherwise communicated.)

Are children allowed?

While we love your kids as much as we love you all, we ask that you please arrange a sitter for the night to celebrate with us child-free!

Is there parking on site?

Yes! There is free parking for up to 100 vehicles. Vehicles can be left overnight, but you won't be able to retrieve until after 8am the following day as the gate will be locked. Please remove your car from the lot by noon.

What's on the menu?

Coming soon! Please note that Vinwood Caterers is not an allergy-free facility, but will do their best to accommodate allergies.

Is there an open bar?

YES, YES, AND YES. Enjoy at your leisure! PLEASE NOTE: The after party at The Derby is not open bar. Thank you!
