There are no shortage of ~spooky happenings~ to find right outside your hotel doors. Salem is known for its celebration of Halloween - and yes, it's still busy in September. From the Witch Museums to the House of Seven Gables, you'll find all of these historic activities (and more) within walking distance.

Salem is also a coastal town, with beautiful water views, as well as a short drive from other gorgeous North Shore beaches. I (Michela), as a beach dwelling gal for all of my life, highly recommend you make the trip.
