Every story is one sided, so here is my side of the story.

Me and Dylan met on Tinder, which seems both like yesterday and many lifetimes ago. We started things off with a little spice. Dylan was working two weeks on, two weeks off doing avalanche control at a mine just north of Smithers, which is where I was living. We had met on FaceTime a few times and decided to meet the day before he went out to camp, and if things went well, I would spend the next two weeks tour guiding him around the north.

Because I was commuting an hour too and from work at the time, we knew Dylan would arrive to Cabin in the Woods before I would make it home from work. He offered to make me dinner and have it waiting when I returned home. Seemed pretty great to me. The only glitch was forgetting the spare key was missing and Dylan would have to climb through a back window and over my bed before start a fire and getting to cooking.

On my drive home from work, I remember being so excited. Dinner was being made for me, and a handsome man was warming the cabin for my arrival. I wasn't letting my brain drift into the what can go wrong territory until I rounded the corner down my drive way and saw a HONDA ELEMENT sitting in my drive way. It felt like red flags were hitting me in the face. What kind of mountain man drives a Honda Element.
