Michelle and Noah found each other in the Spring of 2019 while working as stage managers on Fairview. When not working the two bonded over sports, a love for games, and a few too many beer/shot combos at The Flamingo. Over that Summer a strong friendship had formed, and towards the end of the Summer that friendship grew into something more. After a brief moment of Michelle referring to Noah as her “not boyfriend” they started dating in September of 2019.    What else could bring two people closer than working countless hours together? The Pandemic of course. In March of 2020 Michelle and Noah packed their bags and headed to New Jersey to stay with Noah’s family for a couple weeks. Those couple weeks of course turned into a couple months. And by May they were headed down to South Carolina to spend time with Michelle’s family. It was during those months spent with each other's families that they truly began to see each other as their own family.   Michelle and Noah finally got a place of their own in 2021. Since then, their apartment has seen a fair share of taco nights, Survivor watch parties, and more books collected than shelves owned. In that apartment, they have experienced career changes, countless Yankee games, and a few mental breakdowns over Eras Tour tickets and the New York Jets. And then, on a quiet morning in October 2023, Noah got down on one knee in their kitchen and asked to do forever together.

There is so much to do &amp; see! We've tried to list some of our favorites, in case you're looking for recommendations while you're visiting the city! Favorite RestaurantMichelle - I really like <a href="https://www.osoharlem.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Oso</a>, which is a neighborhood go to for us.Noah - <a href="https://www.fumorestaurant.com/the-inn-menu/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Inn by Fumo</a> (The Chick Inn), especially for brunch. Favorite BarMichelle - For a bar up by us, I love <a href="https://www.winniesaid.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Winnie Said</a>. My favorite beer bar is <a href="https://www.asisnyc.com/home" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">As Is</a>.Noah - For people who love beer <a href="https://www.beerrun.nyc/locations" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Beer Run Harlem</a> is great and low key. They also have locations on the Upper West Side &amp; Chelsea. Favorite Midtown SpotMichelle - I have three go-to spots if I'm in midtown: <a href="https://dutchfreds.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Dutch Fred's</a> for pre-show cocktails, <a href="https://www.beanyc.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Bea Bar</a> for dinner, and <a href="https://holdfastnyc.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Hold Fast </a>for post-show drinks.Noah - <a href="https://www.daltonsbarnyc.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Daltons</a> is always a staple on 43rd &amp; 9th, I also enjoy <a href="https://www.thebrazentavern.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Brazen Tavern</a> on 44th &amp; 9th. Show to SeeIt's hard for us to come up with just one or two recommendations (so we didn't). If you're looking for a good night of laughs <a href="https://newyork.titaniquemusical.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Titanique</a> and <a href="https://www.ohmaryplay.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Oh Mary</a> are also a great time. Tourist AttractionMichelle - I unapologetically love <a href="https://www.chelseamarket.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Chelsea Market</a>. On a nice day, you can walk the <a href="https://www.thehighline.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">High Line</a> and end at Chelsea Market for lunch and shopping. It's especially great for groups where no one can decide on what they want to eat. They have something for everyone.Noah - I love the <a href="https://www.metmuseum.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Met</a> and the rooftop bar has great views of the Central Park and city. Favorite BreweryMichelle - <a href="https://www.taleabeer.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Talea Brewery</a>!! They have locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn.Noah - <a href="https://www.randolphbeer.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Randolph Beer</a> has it all, beer, food, games. I also enjoy <a href="https://clintonhallny.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Clinton Hall</a> is great and has a few locations. I also enjoy <a href="https://sixpoint.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Six Point</a>'s beers and they have a downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn location. Miscellaneous RecommendationsPlace to Run:Michelle - The <a href="https://assets.centralparknyc.org/pdfs/maps/Central_Park_Running_Map.pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Central Park</a> 6 mile loop is by far my favorite, but throughout Central Park there are many different loop options to run or bike or walk!Entertainment:Noah - The IMAX at the <a href="https://www.amctheatres.com/movie-theatres/new-york-city/amc-lincoln-square-13" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Lincoln Square AMC</a> is the largest IMAX screen in the country. So if catching a movie sounds good to you definitely try to check that out.Bookstore:Michelle - <a href="https://www.mcnallyjackson.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">McNally Jackson</a> is my favorite bookstore in the city, they have a handful of locations though Seaport is my favorite. And honorable mention to our local bookstore, <a href="https://www.bookculture.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Book Culture</a>. The 112th location has a great selection of used books.
