Kala and Ellie have been partners in crime since freshman year of high school. These two have been inseparable since day one, not even the distance with Ellie moving all the way to Texas has gotten between that. They went through all the firsts together and were there throughout all of life’s ups and downs. Blood couldn’t make these two closer. They will always be “sissy’s” at heart.

Kala and Mindi met in school. They had a lot of mutual friends they hung out with but as they got older their friendship started to grow. Over the years Mindi has gained a friendship with Joe as well. She was Nirvanas nanny for years and their kids have been growing up together. They may not talk everyday like they used to but both Mikala and Joe know Mindi would be right there if they needed her.

Sami was born on Mikala’s 5th birthday. Mikala says “Sami Jo is the best gift I have ever been given, my own tiny best friend”. They went from sharing bunk beds as kids to them being each other’s bridesmaids at their weddings just a year apart. These two will forever share a special bond that could never be broken. Mikala is very close with all her siblings and their children, Sami will be standing by her representing them as well.

Dave has been Joes best friend since middle school. These two have done more crazy stuff than most people could imagine. They have a history of deciding on a last minute adventure and taking off at midnight to places like New York, Michigan and South Carolina. Sure Dave and Joe may have had times when life pulled them in different directions but it’s always like they never missed a beat when they see each other again. Dave will always be like a brother and his son, a nephew. Over the years Mikala and the rest of the family have grown close with Dave and his family as well, creating so many great memories together.

Jimbob, as Joe likes to call him, is like a brother. They enjoy going to Indians games together, traveling up north every now and again, and just hanging out. Joe wouldn’t want anyone else in his wedding party than Jimmy. He is happy to have someone like Jimbob stick by his side. Joe says “Jimmy has helped me in ways he will never know”

Joe met Spencer around 9 years ago working at MadJacks. Joe thought for a while Spencer was older due to his old soul but to his surprise Spencer was a young pup of 16. Fast forward to now, Spencer is Joes barber and neighbor so he gets to see him all the time. Over the years they had some close basketball games and some not so close golf matches (Spencer winning always). Mikala and Joe both say how proud they are of the young man Spency has become. Joe loves hanging out with Spencer and is happy he is a part of the big day.
