Felicia and I regularly stay at this campground when we are in the area. There are 6 cabins and 2 cottages available and the atmosphere of the campground is very relaxed with plenty of space between sites for privacy. The hosts are wonderful and take great care of the campground. There is a general store, a pool, showers and a game room.
Don't let the word "motel" fool you, these rooms are top notch and put most hotel rooms to shame. The Grooms Great Aunt Pat used to manage the place and took very good care of the rooms. Now that it is under new ownership I can't promise you anything, but suffice to say you will be in good hands, these rooms have everything you need.
The original location for our ceremony, Lake Mokoma is located a stones throw away from our reception venue and has many VRBO/AirBnB cabin/cottage rentals available. It also happens to be where Mitchell's mother grew up. The area features many amenities and is located within a private community.
