For those who received an invitation to stay on site, check in will begin at 3:00 PM. Room / bed assignments will be provided upon check-in with the venue. Check in is at the main office of the Lakeview Venue (right across the street from our Willows Venue!). The address for lodging check in location is 11848 S Elk Creek Rd, Pine, CO.

The elevation of the venue is about 8,200 feet above sea level. Altitude sickness can set in starting as low as 5,000 feet, but around 8,000 feet is typically when symptoms set in for most people. Symptoms include headache, nausea, loss of appetite, and trouble sleeping. The best cure for altitude sickness is to go down in elevation. Ways to prevent altitude sickness is to ascend gradually, staying a few nights at 5,000 feet before ascending further. Louisville, Boulder, and Golden are all roughly around 5,000 feet in elevation. Other prevention measures is to arrive at elevation fully hydrated - it's recommended to be drinking plenty of water a few days prior to travel. Avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise after arriving at elevation. Be on the lookout for symptoms in yourself and in your party and have some anti-nausea and headache medication on hand. The bride personally likes to drink some bubbly water or kombucha when feeling a little altitude sick to curb the nausea.

It's Colorado so be ready for temperature swings! The wedding is in September which could be mean warm and sunny or cold and rainy. We recommend dressing in something fun and festive but having that puffy or extra layer in the car if a chill comes through when the sun goes down.

We know many of our guests will be flying in for the wedding and flights aren't cheap these days, so your presence is all we need. However, if you're feeling old fashioned and want to pick up a wedding gift, we have a registry set up right here on our website.
