If you like beer, Golden is about as good as it gets. Take a tour of the Coors brewery or visit any of the local breweries on Main Street.

Right out of beautiful Clear Creek Canyon, Clear Creek runs through the heart of downtown Golden. Kick off your shoes, dip your toes in the chilly water, and rest a while.

There any too many hikes in Golden to list them all here. Take a look at Alltrails.com or your favorite trail website to pick one that fits in to your plans for the day. Don't forget you're at elevation, though. That quick hike can turn in to an epic before you know it! Always carry water, comfortable shoes, and a rain jacket.

For those who prefer a bit of action, Colorado offers a number of exciting activities. Rent a mountain bike and go to Staunton State Park, Golden, Morrison, or Boulder. If you have climbing experience, bring your gear and head out to Staunton State Park (just next door to the wedding venue!), Clear Creek Canyon, North Table, or Boulder Canyon. There's also great indoor climbing in Golden at Movement Climbing Gym.

Denver is BIG. If you're looking to get a feel for the city here are some areas we enjoy. Each of the areas mentioned below has great shops, bars, and food!

River North Art District (RiNo). The RiNo Art District is a distinctive area of north Denver that is inclusive of the historical neighborhoods of Globeville, Elyria- Swansea, Five Points and Cole.

Tennyson Street. Tennyson Street is a historically rich neighborhood that, despite many changes, continues to hold on to its unique character and bohemian charm. We really love the Thai food at Beau Thai.

Larimer Square. An iconic and lively gathering place, Larimer Square is the beating heart and creative soul of Downtown Denver.

If you have some time to spare, grab some tickets to take a walk through Meow Wolf. If you don't know what Meow Wolf is, get ready to have your mind blown! We recommend spending about 3 hours at Meow Wolf.
