They were fraternity "brothers" before they were lovers! Sean and Mollyann were both members of Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity at NC State University. Go Pack! It was not until the Spring 2012 semi-formal that they really connected. They both attended the event without dates and ended up spending the evening dancing and getting to know one another.

A few weeks later after a few more adventures together, Sean officially asked Mollyann to be his girlfriend over dinner at Gravy, one of the restaurants that shares a space with the location of the rehearsal dinner.

Mollyann was asked to participate in a bridal styled shoot by Mikkel Paige Photography. However, she did not know that Sean was a part of planning the shoot all along! Sean had secretly been hiding at the photo shoot location the entire day; he had been working with the vendors to make sure everything was set up exactly how he had envisioned it. During the shoot, Mollyann was asked to read a letter. She opened it up and began to read only to realize that it was not just a prop, but a letter that was from Sean.

At that moment, Sean was cued to enter the room when the song "Home" by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros began to play. He got down on one knee and asked that one very important question, "Will you marry me?". Mollyann was so excited and emotional that she could only nod for a minute and then exclaimed, "Yes!".

In her own words Mollyann has claimed that, "It was literally the perfect proposal."
