If you're traveling from out of town and you're staying nearby for the weekend of our wedding, there are many options for things to do in this area. The nearest attractions are the Indiana Dunes National Park and State Park (yes, there are both). If you don't know what dunes are, they are huge hills of sand and they are very fun to run up and run down. Some like to do backflips off of the steep parts. The dunes offer a lovely day at the beach with a little bit of cardio activity, if you decide to climb the dunes.
