Morgan and Izzy have been friends since the beginning of high school (2002). It all started at band practice for Cesspool. Izzy played guitar, Morgan played bass. They spent so much of their time together after meeting that Morgan's mother, Becky, wouldn't even bat an eye at Izzy being in her house and Morgan's brothers would expect to see Izzy at their family get-togethers or camping trips.

Marc is Morgan's older brother by 3 years, and twin brother to Mitch. Marc is married to Veronica and they have 2 children: Lilli and Samuel. Morgan and Sarah love to visit Marc's family at their house on a hill with a great view. It's common for them to sit around a campfire that burns for days and eat meats grilled by Marc and delicious Filipino dishes made by Veronica.

Mitch is Morgan's older brother by 3 years, and twin brother to Marc. Mitch is married to Courtney and they have 3 children: Dietmar, Marissa, and Valery. Since Mitch's family lives in Logansport, Sarah and Morgan are able to visit them whenever they go to Morgan's hometown. In between visits, Mitch and Morgan talk on the phone to keep up on each other's lives. Mitch and Courtney have visited Morgan and Sarah in the city as well!

Friend of the groom

Morgan and Butcher have been friends since the beginning of high school (2002). He was the drummer of the band Cesspool, where Morgan met Izzy. They all sat at the same lunch table and eventually, Morgan and Butch drove to and from school together. Dave's mom even referred to Morgan and Izzy as "her other sons." Now Morgan and Sarah visit Dave and his wife, Lacie, and their 2 children, Olive and Hazel, as often as they can.

Brother of the groom

Matt is Morgan's older brother by 5 years, the eldest of the 5 Jensen boys. Matt is married to Renee and they have 2 children: Trey and Kelsey Thomas. At family get-togethers, Matt and Morgan are typically partners when the boys play cards, since the twins are usually partners. Matt and Morgan share a similar sense of humor and enjoy a good game.

Adam is Morgan's younger brother by 10 years, the youngest of the 5 Jensen boys. Adam lives with his long-time girlfriend Anna Ogden. Adam's mom, Shelley, has been around since Morgan was a little, freckled boy and Morgan remembers when Adam was born. As they've grown up, both Morgan and Adam share a love for the outdoors, camping, and fishing.

Morgan met Dakota in 2009 at Snack Manor, a huge house/manor in Chicago (previously owned by a Chicago Bear) which had 12 rooms housing one giant group of friends. Shortly after Morgan moved in, he went to an Animal City show with the band's drummer Levi. Dakota was the lead singer and guitarist of Animal City. The band had practice in the basement of The Manor so Dakota was around a lot. Over time, their bromance blossomed and now, they are like brothers - and can chat on the phone for HOURS at a time!

Sister of the bride

Emily is Sarah's younger sister by 3 years. Emily is married to Corey Hintz and they have a son, Skylar. Emily has been Sarah's favorite person since she was born. They did everything together and went everywhere together. Sarah was so used to Emily being right behind her that she would naturally turn around to say something to her sister, even if Emily wasn't actually standing there. As they grew up, their personalities grew and became more and more different from one another's, and through it all, they are still each other's favorites.

Cousin of the bride

Megan is Sarah's younger cousin by 2 years. Megan's mother, Ann, is sister to Sarah's mother, Mary. Megan is married to Corey Iams. Megan is between Sarah and Emily in age and was around them so much in childhood, it really felt like she was another sister. Sarah bonded with Megan as much as a sister-from-another-mister can, they lived together for an I.U. Bloomington summer, and they were both located in Chicago for a few years together! They remain very close and see each other often.

Cousin of the bride

Nikki is Sarah's older cousin by 4 months. Nikki's father, Christopher, is first cousin to Sarah's mother, Mary. Nikki and Sarah are best friends in cousin form and spent a lot of time together growing up. They chased each other in height as they grew, with Sarah eventually passing Nikki up by a couple inches, they went through awkward teenage years together, loved their Camp Eberhart summers together, and still remain close and rely on each other for support in their personal lives via frequent phone calls. Even when Nikki goes to Kenya, she still calls her cousin Sarah.

Friend of the bride

Sarah and Sarah knew each other from elementary school (1999), since they were both choir kids and sang together often. One night in middle school (2002), Miller stayed over at Paulsen's house before a Solo & Ensemble competition. That night was full of laughs and bonding and was the night the Sarahs became inseparable best friends. Getting each other through break ups, rescuing each other from being stranded by empty gas tanks, calling each other when they have something to say/vent about that they can't say to anyone else - they've gone through many ups and downs together over the last 20 years and have been there for each other through life's curve balls. There won't be a day when one Sarah isn't there for the other.

Elizabeth and Sarah first met each other in 2004/2005-ish, when Liz was visiting her cousin, Sarah Miller! I know, small world. Later on, Duff, Miller, and Paulsen all attended Indiana University Bloomington and were all members of the Singing Hoosiers. Duff and Paulsen were both freshman and hung out with the same Singing Hoosier buddies. Eventually, they were roommates for 2 years and became close. After Duffy moved to L.A., they have visited each other and keep in touch via long phone/Skype calls.

Daniel is Sarah's older brother by 2 years. Daniel is married to Kat and they have a daughter, Teresa, and a granddaughter, Andrea. Daniel and Sarah were the first two born in their generation and spent a lot of time learning how to be friends with each other. They had a typical "protective big brother/annoying little sister" relationship growing up, but the two have always had a lot in common and have become very close friends as adults. They make time to visit each other whenever possible.

Sister-in-law of the bride

Kat is Sarah's sister-in-law. Kat and Daniel were married in April 2019 and they have a daughter, Teresa, and a granddaughter, Andrea. Kat and Sarah have been friends ever since Kat started dating Sarah's brother. They share a similar sense of humor and are both good at going with the flow, at least more than others in their family. Sarah was so pleased when Daniel and Kat got married because Kat is a perfect match for her big brother.

Shane and Sarah have been friends since their freshman Spanish class in high school (2004). Shane's silly nature and confidence caught Sarah's eye and they became friends, passing notes to each other in the hall for the first few years of HS. Then they got cell phones and started texting each other all the time. They even had a phone call that lasted over 7 hours! Shane also knew Morgan in high school - when Shane found out Sarah and Morgan got together, his response was, "Hell yeah, dude. That totally makes sense. You two are a great match."
