This isn't really a question, but it's one of the biggest things you need to know. Our venue has a strict no-outside alcohol policy, and we love this venue so much that we, of course, want to respect their rules. If you do decide to add your own flair to our party, you'll be paying the $1,000 bar bill.

The entire wedding, ceremony, reception and all, will be at Echo Mountain Ski Resort in Idaho Springs. Type 19285 CO-103, Idaho Springs, CO 80452 into your maps and it will take you right to the entrance. There is a big sign for the resort, turn right at the sign and park at the lower lot. A reminder, once you get off I-70 there is very little cell service until you get to the resort, please have your maps going ahead of time.

Because of the venue's location, rideshare services are not ideal. You may choose to take a rideshare to the wedding, but getting one back will be tricky due to the reception and the number of drivers who want to go that far. You may be able to schedule a ride or taxi ahead of time, make sure you confirm with your driver if you choose that route.

We are gathering in one of Jon and I's favorite places and we want y'all to enjoy it too. Our ceremony will be phone-free. That means from the moment the music starts to when the wedding party leaves please do not pull out your phone. We have an amazing wedding photographer, so your iPhone pics are not needed. With that said, once the serious part ends, please take as many photos as you would like.

Welcome to the beautiful Colorado backcountry! The wedding will be both indoors and outdoors, so please plan for the weather. It is fall at 10,000 feet, so the night will get chilly. The ceremony will be outside on the mountain, and cocktail hour will be a hybrid with room both indoors and on the patio. The reception will be inside the ski lodge, but if the weather holds, we can always move the party outside and look at the stars!

We are so excited to have you at our wedding! We have a set number of people we invited to the wedding, so if your invitation included a plus one, we can't wait to have them! If your invitation did not, please do not bring any surprise guests without asking us first.

Now this is the question everyone wants the answer to. Yes the bar will be open for a set amount of time. We will have beer and wine options, as well as two cocktails curated by Jon and I.
