Q + A

What is the dress code for the ceremony?

It'll be hot. Natural, breathable fabrics and maybe something to slip on at night or on the boat. Beach-worthy footwear. The bride and groom will be dressed up but you can come as you please. Be prepared to be photographed and have your picture on our wall for years to come.

How are we getting to/from the wedding venue?

We have arranged round trip private transportation for all guests to the boat terminal and back. Pick up and drop off will be from the Zona Romantica Lazaro Cardensas Park (Mosaic Park). Please arrive by 3 pm. More precise details to be shared at the welcome reception. If you are staying away from the Romantic Zone, make your way to the maritime terminal and please arrive by 4 pm. More precise details will be shared at the Welcome Reception.

What to Bring?

You may want a light jacket or sweater for the return boat ride, sensible shoes, bug spray, and a sense of adventure. Your presence is all the gift we need!

Tell us more about Las Caletas and what we can expect

A lush, privately owned tropical beach cove south of Puerto Vallarta, where the jungle meets Banderas Bay. It used to be the home of filmmaker John Huston and is now owned and operated by Vallarta Adventures. The wedding ceremony will take place on the beach with the reception in an open-air restaurant. There will be a cocktail hour immediately after the ceremony with hors d’oeuvres followed by a buffet style dinner. After dinner join us for dancing, entertainment, and a beach bonfire. Be prepared to celebrate!

Tell us more about the boat trip

The boat ride there and back is on a large “party boat” catamaran with ample seating and washrooms. There will be music and an open bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The boat ride is very scenic and about an hour each way. Las Caletas is not wheelchair accessible, but the boat is easy to board and disembark. Nadaya easily got on and off the boat while recovering from a broken ankle!
