Only accessible by boat. Take a water taxi from Los Muertos Pier or from the seaside village of Boca de Tomatlan. Charming village with good quality restaurants. Large beach with vendors and beach cafes. Good place for souvenir shopping. Excellent snorkeling from local Playa Isabel Beach (bring your own equipment). Two waterfalls, one close to the main village and another an hour hike -upriver from the village. Be sure to check the water taxi schedule so you don't miss the last boat.

Beautiful coastal hike from the seaside village of Boca de Tomatlan to Animas Beach. About 4 KM and 2 hours. Take a water taxi back to Boca or Los Muertos Pier from Playa Animas. Good walking shoes are recommended. You will cross many beautiful beaches before arriving at Playa Animas . Lots of beach restaurants and vendors at Playa Animas for lunch
