Given the logistics of organizing a destination wedding, we kindly ask that you give us your initial RSVP by January 31st. And your final RSVP by February 28th, about 3 months out from the celebrations.

As a U.S. citizen, you are allowed to stay for up to 3 months! Note that as of Jan. 1st 2025, you will need to submit a UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) for travel to Scotland and the rest of the United Kingdom. Processing takes up to 3 business days and the link to submit can be found here: https://uketa.com/apply/. Please also make sure your passport will not expire by the time of the wedding and for the duration of your visit. And given the potential for government shutdowns, we recommend starting the passport renewal process sooner rather than later!

Black tie optional, kilts preferred! Please note for those coming from abroad, the weather in Edinburgh is not particularly warm in late May. Anticipate temperatures in the mid-to-high 50's or if we are lucky....60's!
