Beach party time! Wear your brightest outfit and get ready to dance in the sand. Shoes optional, heels not recommended.

Colorful dressy / cocktail / semi formal recommended. This event will be outdoors in the sand.

For Her: Please do not wear white!

For Him: Guayaberas recommended!

Formal / Summer Black Tie!
The weather in Guatape in April is pleasantly warm, humid but cool, with average highs of 76°F (25°C) and lows of 63°F (17°C).


The ceremony and reception will be indoors, but the cocktail hour will be outdoors. Both the indoor and outdoor area will have a solid floor... and right next to the hotel and cabanas, so if you want to have an outfit or shoe change between the ceremony & the reception, DO ITTTTT!


For the skirts:
Formal dresses, spring/summer black tie, colorful and fun, or black and fun. Live your best formal life, and avoid cocktail attire!


Please refrain from wearing white or shades of pine green 🤗


While the church and reception venue are stiletto friendly, Guatape’s road and the walk from the cabañas to the pickup point are less stiletto friendly. I personally love these convertible heels.


For the suits:
Black tie, linen suits, formal guayaberas (but like still a suit fam), all work!
