Our Wedding

Our story began in 2019. I arrive at the gym and about 20 minutes into my workout I looked up and across the gym I saw this guy in all grey and I immediately thought to myself " wow he is CUTE" and that id never seen him here before, so I went about my workout, with casual not so obvious glances over to him and that was that. The following day I went back to the gym, and sure enough, I saw him there again! Soon enough, it became this running joke with me and my female co-workers as I would refer to Ryan as my "gym crush". They would always ask if we had ever talked to each other. Then randomly one evening I am lying on my couch and I open up Instagram and I received a notification that this user "Shawzy403" sent a follow request, and I had no clue who that was, so I looked at the person profile and to my surprise it was Ryan! so I obviously I FREAKED OUT! I immediately message my friend Ashley telling her he added me! I seen the following day that he has actually sent me a message so I was highly intrigued to see what he said, and I will never forget his first message to me was, not "Hi, Hello, Im so and so, but "You came up on my friend suggestion page, and we go to the same gym btw"... Well DUH, I knew that! hahaha We chatted on Instagram for a few weeks, actually said Hello to each other in person at the gym, and shortly after we decided to go on an official date, or as we millennials like to call it "hang out" no labels yet, ya know. We went and chatted for hours over some drinks and really, that was it. And now we find ourselves here, two years later.

All Because two people went to the gym

Leighanne is not only my cousin, she is my best friend. Having been born only a week apart, I think someone somewhere knew that we were bound to be close no matter what.
Leighanne and her family moved from Nova Scotia to Calgary when she was an early teen. Fast forward to after high school now and Leighanne started dating a young man that I actually knew in school and one day she asks me to hang out with them and I guess as they say "the rest is history". We were inseparable, we may be family but we choose to be best friends.
We would make this joke when we were in our early 20's that Leighanne is the person that will fight for you, any injustice to her friends and family and she will knock them down for you (literally, I've seen it) . Myself, I am the moral support for when she gets back! and giving her encouragement. She is the most stubborn, outgoing, hilarious, loving person I have ever known.

Alyssa is Natasha's older sister. Being that her and I are only 13 months apart our parents pretty much had twins. Growing up whenever she wanted to do something, I being the little sister wanted to do it to. She was in Sparks, so I joined, She was in Gymnastics, dance class, anything! I wanted to be in because I wanted to be with her.
Being that she was a grade above me, come Jr. High I was always known to our teachers as "Alyssa's little sister" and it would bug me so much! as I just wanted to be my own person. But as we grew older and as we became closer. I realized how special she is, and then to me and being known as "Alyssa's littler sister" went from being an annoyance to a privilege.

She is funny, giving, compassionate, and the best mother to two wonderful children and as far as Big Sisters go, I think I got the golden ticket.
