Our story began in 2019.

I arrive at the gym and about 20 minutes into my workout I looked up and across the gym I saw this guy in all grey and I immediately thought to myself " wow he is CUTE" and that id never seen him here before, so I went about my workout, with casual not so obvious glances over to him and that was that.

The following day I went back to the gym, and sure enough, I saw him there again!

Soon enough, it became this running joke with me and my female co-workers as I would refer to Ryan as my "gym crush". They would always ask if we had ever talked to each other. Then randomly one evening I am lying on my couch and I open up Instagram and I received a notification that this user "Shawzy403" sent a follow request, and I had no clue who that was, so I looked at the person profile and to my surprise it was Ryan! so I obviously I FREAKED OUT! I immediately message my friend Ashley telling her he added me! I seen the following day that he has actually sent me a message so I was highly intrigued to see what he said, and I will never forget his first message to me was, not "Hi, Hello, Im so and so, but "You came up on my friend suggestion page, and we go to the same gym btw"... Well DUH, I knew that! hahaha

We chatted on Instagram for a few weeks, actually said Hello to each other in person at the gym, and shortly after we decided to go on an official date, or as we millennials like to call it "hang out" no labels yet, ya know. We went and chatted for hours over some drinks and really, that was it.

And now we find ourselves here, two years later.
