Shopping :

CDS Pallet store, Ollies bargain outlet, Dollar Treasure, Kristi's Kloset (note, they moved up near Barnes & Noble) Birchwood Mall and all your other standards are on the north end (Fort Gratiot)

Other :

Desmond Landing River Walk, *note, the downtown mainstreet area is a social district! Go for a stroll with your alcohol and check out the bars and shops before heading down!

From Pine Grove park there is a whole river section with walkways and parking lots leading to the bridge to Canada! (This was a favorite for the bride and her mom, grabbing mcdonalds and sitting by the bridge watching the freighters)

Fishing is good just north of the Blue Water Bridge or more south near the YMCA. Also highly recommend the overpass near Fort Gratiot Burger King.

Pine River Nature Center and Greig Park have awesome easy walking trails (they're free! Pine River is the entrance before our venue!)

Lakeport Beach is my favorite, its usually way less crowded than ours.

40 street pond (behind Hillgers) is a cute place to chill, fishing kinda sucks.

Same with Allen pond (Sutherland park, 5000-5222 Howard Rd, Smiths Creek, MI 48074)

BINGO : While the ceremony will be phone free until the end, the reception is fair game! And so we made it a game!

You'll find bingo cards and stickers at your table, take the required photos, get a bingo for a prize! Send us your photos to collect your gift. Fill out the entire card, or get a regular bingo + "special" photo for your choice at a bigger prize! (while supplies last 😉)

There will be a designated table, pretty obviously marked, with recreational items to injest

Painting

There will be a canvas with balloons on it, the balloons are full of paint. A nerf gun of sorts will help keep your outfit clean as you help contribute to our wedding day canvas! Just don't hog em all 😉

Photobooth

Can you tell how much I love photos yet?

There will be a photobooth area set up with props they've included as well as props I've brought along! It prints an extra copy for us that goes into our wedding album. So get silly, get serious, get posing!

Dancing, I guess

Nick and I aren't dancers but you go right ahead! However, I might come to the floor for the Cha Cha Slide or a classic conga line 👀

Beer pong & Shotski

Did you really think I'd have a party without beer pong? There will also be a Shot Ski available (which makes for more great photos!)

Cards/Games

We will also have a table with cards and games if nothing else interests you!
