BOOK WELL IN ADVANCE. June is high season for Kauai so early research and booking will ensure your best choices. If you plan to join us, please review several suggestions below. Condos and rental homes are options in every area of the island, and can save you from the cost of eating out every meal. 

If you prefer a resort, there are several in Princeville where the wedding is held, or in many other towns to the South and East on the island. 

WEDDING LOCATION IS IN THE NORTH














🌴Staying anywhere in PRINCEVILLE will have you within a mile or two of the wedding, as well as the gorgeous North Shore. The views are breathtaking from this golf community on the bluffs overlooking the ocean, Hanalei mountains, and Hanalei Bay. 
🌴HANALEI BAY is a 5 minute drive and the next closest town to the wedding venue. Hanalei addresses may be North of the town of Hanalei/Hanalei Bay, so look carefully at a map if you want to be in the town. The North Hanalei area/Haena has a quiet,secluded appeal and is about 10 minutes from Hanalei Bay. Hanalei town is a small, beachy town in the foothills of the mountains and on the beach, with several restaurants and small shops. Our favorite place to stay! 
🌴KAPAA is a cute, bustling local-feel town on the main road on the East side and a bit more affordable than the North Shore. Kapaa is more central to easily travel to the entire island. Kapaa is approximately 25-30 minutes away from the wedding, and has many walkable-distance restaurants as well as beaches and a bike path.

🌴The South end of the island is about a 60-75 minute drive (POIPU or KOLOA areas) and is more hot and dry, and has several larger resort options/shopping/restaurants/golfing. 

🌴LIHUE is also central, and is a great choice if you plan to go everywhere on the island. Lihue is the largest town and this is where Costco, Walmart, the airport, etc is. Lihue is about 35-40 minutes from Princeville (the wedding location). There is an affordable golf course here and several ocean-front resorts. 

The whole island is beautiful and accessible by car. (Except the Napali Coast. See the photo section!)
