Like most modern love stories, this one started over an online dating app way back in 2010. After some messages back and forth, Jamie eventually worked up the courage to invite Nigel around one long weekend to help him drink through what would be the first of many a case of beers.

The boys obviously liked who they had met, and continued to catch up over the month to come before deciding to make it official on the night of Jamie's 30th birthday.

Little did they know, like the Doctor and Clara, two characters from one of their favourite tv shows, the boys timelines were already intertwined, having already crossed paths one night when Nigel first moved to Canberra.

Through thick and thin, those who have been along for the ride can attest, no matter what challenges life throws their way, the boys always display a passion and unbreakable bond for the other.
