Kraków is easily reachable from most of the UK and European airports.

We like to use google flights website to search for our flights but buy straight from the airline. The cheapest and most frequent ones are Ryanair and Wizz Air.

Alternative route will be to fly to Katowice Airport, however that is much further and you will need to add 2 hours coach ride.

Uber or Bolt?

The easiest and fair-priced taxi option. The ride should be £10-£15 per car to Nowa Huta. Pre-download the app to save time on arrival (as it is an international app, you will not need to download a local one). You’ll need internet access to get an Uber but there is free Wi-Fi at the airport.

Taxi

There are dozens of taxis waiting outside of the airport. If you decide to choose this option make sure the price is no more than £25.

Train

fast option, especially if your destination is in the center of Kraków (Nowa Huta is much more east, and you’d need to change to another means of transport to get here). The price is about £5 per person. You can get your tickets from the machines at the front and end of the train or from the conductors that patrol inside the carriages.

Buses

The cheapest but the longest way to get to the city. Bus stops are at the end of the terminal (turn right when you leave the airport). Bus no. 300 will take you to the centre (get off at Rondo Grunwaldzkie) from where you can change to a tram or bus to get to your destination (tram 22 for Nowa Huta, tram 18 / 52 for the Main Square). The ticket price is £1.50 and can be bought from the machines either at the bus stop or on the bus, it’s valid for an hour. Please note to choose 6PLN tickets for adults and 3PLN for children.

Big group

There are bus companies that can accommodate groups bigger than 4 people. Let us know if that's the case and we will help you organize it with the drivers we know.

Getting to the venue

Ceremony:

You can get there by walking, Uber, taxi or public transport. The closest bus stops are Teatr Ludowy and Żeromskiego.

The entry to the venue is from the main road, but don’t be surprised if the taxi will drop you on the back side of the building, as it’s easier to park there.
